Food,Energy,Water,Efficiency & Resources for all-some reflections & act

People really want to totally control access to food,energy,water,efficiency & resources for all in this world - to get a false sense of power,control & superiority. None of the above is permanent is the only answer I will give to all such people - there is always a huge price to pay for hoarding,denying opportunities,blocking progress,restricting access to basics,even restricting access to info,energy,water & not improving ourselves in the bargain.

This post is just requesting all people to reflect & really act for justice, for finding ways to perhaps reduce problems globally,truly serving people with humility & utmost empathy. One may ask I am an individual - what impact can I have possibly - that said only maverick individuals change things in life - other people adjust to their way of life & remember them when they are long gone - even today such entrepreneurs are celebrated for what they have done - really left a mark & enabled better ways of life.

Here is a submission on why electricity & many other things matter - the statement below is

Imagine not being able to turn on a light, boil a kettle, or keep food safe to eat. This is life for 1.2 billion people.

Now imagine being hungry,wearing rags,watching many people eat & drink - not being able to do anything,being aged & forced to beg - get insulted & robbed by the majority - with law makers doing precious little.

Now imagine parents or kids suffering this daily - being called names,being shamed & humiliated at almost every step.

 Literacy helps - it really helps to enable sharing of resources - stop plunder & use existing resources a lot better - this is what is happening in the flood hit regions of Kodagu, Kerela, Assam & other places in the NE of India.

 Now think about this

Live with sanity after reading this post.Think & act is the humble request - I am not writing about the state of sanitation - the humiliating deaths of manual scavengers in Delhi makes the guts wrench in total disgust-legal way to murder poor people while the rich gloss over & pay lip service.Society wake up before it is too late. 

As always I want to help with giving people hope - many are contributing from all over the world-let us hope this post wakes many decision makers - who do more!

 

 

 

Working for ourselves & reducing problems

There is truly a lot of work to be done,
Many people really toil under the blazing sun,
The temperatures are boiling,
The heat and water levels are rising,
Oceans,seas & freshwater are becoming a little more salty,
Sands are becoming more molty (as is molten),
The lands are sinking (sinkholes) globally,
There is some recognition of more problems finally!

Many new diseases are being discovered,
Many previously wasted resources are being recovered,
Some awareness is individually increasing,
Many small teams loosely held together are forming,
New paths to possible reductions of problems are getting uncovered!

What a waste of all kinds of "Waste" ,
Most of us act in haste,
Some are just happy with Cut,copy & paste!
It is one of the biggest opportunities,
Spread out in most rural areas & cities,
The only thing waste is doing most of the time is leaving a lot of bad taste!

Waste is for us to reflect upon & use it as an asset,
If only many minds were not as set!
It is in our own interest,
Yet it is something most detest,waste causes a lot of unrest!
The least that is possible sorting it,compacting it & changing our mindset.

Many call it a dirty business - I concede - yes it is dirty,
For Water are most if not all thirsty!
In all other things are we not thrifty!
Most if not all food waste too becomes shitty
This leaves many an eye misty!.

Energy can be created,packaging too, natural beauty packs too,
Lots of water is saved is true,
The products & services cover a wide range,
The neglect of waste is in a way very strange,
The only people that need to change - are me & you!

I hope I have inspired at least one person to start,
Starting a co. is a mix of tech & art!
Friends come & go - many mistakes are made
The charm begins to fade,
The work must be done using a spade!
The opportunity must be sharper than a razor blade!

The Cycle of life goes on & on,
Never wait till the opportunity is gone!
